WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY (WED)

Magtanim ay di biro,

Maghapon nakayuko,

Di naman makaupo,

Di naman makatayo….. LOL!

Imagine if all human beings are aware of helping our mother earth, then I’m sure this planet will be a much better place to live in. If only all inhabitants know how to clean their place, plant trees, dispose their garbage properly consequently our world will give us the fruits of our labor and love for our nature. If we can just realize how much mother earth needs us, then maybe we’ll be guilty for the wrong actions we’ll commit.

Yesterday we (ATI Batangas Team) joined a tree planting activity at Brgy. Tinga Labac, Batangas City. This place is actually a dumpsite in Batangas City that needs to rehabilitate and regenerate its natural beauty. So we did planting of 2000 mahogany trees and we had fun doing this. I actually enjoyed planting trees :-) it’s a fulfilling experience for me because I know in my own little way, I had help our world. :)

After this activity, we ate our breakfast at Mcdo. Then, we went to plaza to see the Green Expo there (parang field trip sa tabi tabi lang, hehe!) LOL! :-) There are lots of varieties of plants (flowering, herbal, fruit-bearing), animals (native ducks and pigs, guinea pigs) and foods. It’s really a nice, fun and cool experience.
